We’ve long admired indie accessories brands Building Block and FAUX/Real for their masterful use of geometry and minimal embellishments in their handbags and jewelry, respectively. Today, the two united to bring us the holiday collaboration of the season—one that’s a far cry from what “holiday” normally entails.
A result of the long-distance friendship between the two brands (Building Block is based in L.A. while FAUX/Real is based in NYC), the new three-piece accessory collection aims to bring convenience to a smartphone-dependent society. Think: a circular mini pouch that hangs from your fingers like a ring to keep you “hands-free” and phone-sized mini bags that fit just the essentials, all in an all-black color palette.
Let’s also not forget the heavy use of ‘90s ball chains, an added bonus to this dreamy new offering. The full offering ranges from $175 to $425 and is available for purchase now at both FAUX/real and Building Block online shop.
